DESIGN AND CO-DESIGN

By working together with the client, Siderurgica Presse’s technical office directly deals with the design of the piece and the mould through the engineering and reverse engineering process. Thanks to the use of cutting-edge software, the design engineers can develop an efficient and optimised production process starting from the prototype provided by the client and, upon request, carry out casting simulations that highlight and prevent any project weaknesses. Through its design and reverse engineering service, costs, time and methods are carefully calculated to provide the client with a safe, efficient project that is fully compliant with the required quality standards.

MOULD CONSTRUCTION

By directly dealing with the construction of die-cast moulds, Siderurgica Presse can provide the market with a wide and versatile range of die-cast or shell-cast aluminium components, thus effectively meeting every customisation requirement. The company can manage any type and size order, going form small lots to highly-complex ones.

DIE-CASTING
AND LOW PRESSURE-MOULD CASTING

The production of Siderurgica Presse includes die-cast or shell-cast aluminium parts that vary considerably in size, ranging from 10 g to 15 kg. Thanks to its innovative and constantly updated machine park, which includes presses ranging from 200 t to 1,500 t, our company successfully meets the requests of multiple industries: these include for example the automotive, pneumatics, electronics, agriculture and ship-building industries.

MACHININGS

Siderurgica Presse’s comprehensive production process also includes all the machining processing requested by clients for items in aluminium, such as milling, drilling, grinding, turning, laser engraving, threading, and tumble finishing.

FINISHES
AND PAINTING

Apart from mechanical processing upon request, Siderurgica Presse can also provide further treatment to offer clients complete components in aluminium. Processes such as deburring and sandblasting, painting and surface finishing can be carried out on the items made: thanks to our cutting-edge machinery and tools, every order is tailor made in every detail.

ASSEMBLY

During the assembly phase of the items in cast or die-cast aluminium, Siderurgica Presse carries out the assembly both with design components and commercial components, as agreed with the client. By directly managing the assembly phase too, the company guarantees compliance with the required standards in every phase of production, further optimising the time, resources and costs of the process.

QUALITY CONTROL

Thanks to its cutting-edge metrology room and systems in compliance with industry 4.0 principles, such as the 3D Hexagon machine, Siderurgica Presse carries out thorough quality checks and final tests on its products. To guarantee high compliance standards, the company also carries out regular internal audits with its clients, as well as many internal tests agreed upon with the client.

LEAK TESTING

Moreover, within the company plant near Brescia, Italy, Siderurgica Presse’s technicians carry out leak tests and production tests to verify the compliance with the relevant regulations.
